BELATED UPDATE

This most recent occurrence took place a couple of weeks ago, but I thought it was worth mentioning. Rachel mentioned to me that one night she saw the headless body of a Victorian woman and heard a woman's laugh. Whether or not this was Evelyn, she could not say. However, this has been the most recent activity in the house.
Things have been, otherwise, quiet. One point of not, which is probably worth mentioning, is that our paranormal activity has slowed since about February. My older daughter, Adrienne, turned 18 this past Valentine's Day. I have begun to wonder whether the brunt of our paranormal activity was actually poltergeist activity. My friend, Dina, had suggested this to me a while back, but the appearances of ghosts made me lean toward simple haunting. We've had ghost activity; there is no doubt about this. It's just that some of the objects moving by themselves and some of the voices might have been poltergeist activity.
One thing, I am going to be on vacation at home, next week. During this time, I plan to experiment around the attic doorway, as well as the two closets built over the window. It will be interesting to see what, if anything, happens. I will be sure to post my results, either way.
